Balance your Life with Commitment and Love

Commitment is the language of the wise; complaint is that of fools. Commitment is a responsibility and it includes accountability.

            Our weakness results in disappointment. To overcome disappointment, boost your strengths. The greatest strength comes from the energy of commitment that brings excellence in all walks of life. Few people traverse the road of success without a puncture or two, but it is commitment to excellence that takes them through.

             To be committed is not being 'Stuck'; it is an integration of one's being. If you are committed to honour your word, the base self in you will discourage you. If your energies are low, you will succumb. If you follow the higher self, the lower self will serve you, slowly getting integrated with the higher. In such a state there will be integrity. Life is shallow. You are both actor and thinker. Every time you lie, the thinker warns you that you are lying and the actor asks you to shut up and continue with two horses going in two different directions. With commitment, however, you are a person of integrity and excellence is attainable.

Like an Eagle, Can we test before we Trust?

              Eagles lay eggs on a cliff or high peak in nest of grass and thorns. When the eggs hatch, the weight of eaglets exerts pressure and the thorns start pricking the newborns. Then the female pushes the eaglets out of the nest. As the eaglets nearly fall, the male picks them and places them back in the nest. Meanwhile, the female removes the upper layer of grass, so that the eaglets rest directly on the thorns that prick them. The eaglets are yet to test their wings. Now the male pushes the eaglets out of the nest. This process continues till such time that the eaglets are able to foresee the danger in falling and start using their ability to use their wings and start flying.

              Observe the commitment of an eagle reflected in the way it executes family responsibilities and the way it conducts itself while parenting. Bring similar commitment to all walks of life; be it in the family, at work, in society or in your spiritual life. Excellence happens when there is love that helps you to grow and contribute.

              Commitment also involves dropping illusions. We do not see the world as it is; we see it projected through are verbose minds. Our minds are filled with thoughts and words. Words represent experience. Words are also influenced by memory. From the past, we see the present. Hence we create illusions created by words, but we must filter them wisely.

              The mind creates dreams. The aware self in you sees reality. Awareness without the 'I' is the higher self. The mind with its illusion is lower self. Have the commitment to operate from the higher self.

              Through commitment, balance all walks of your life... family, work, social and spiritual. Creativity is to balance all walks of life. Creativity is just not creating something new always. Creativity brings excellence in one's life. It is a state of well being. Well-being creates completion. When one is complete, one is alive and vibrant in all walks of life.

Thinking that all phenomena are nothing but dreams

All that can never be experienced is phenomena. Remember, not only are the objects of the world phenomena and dreams, but also objects of consciousness. They may be objects of the world, they may be just objects of the mind. They may be great spiritual experiences.

You may see kundalini rising in you: that too is a phenomena - A beautiful dream, but a dream all the same. You may see great light flooding your being, but that light is also a phenomenon. You may see lotuses blooming inside you and great fragrance arising within your being: those too are phenomena, because you are always the seer and never the seen, always the experiencer and never the experienced, always the witness and never the witnessed.

All that can be witnessed, seen, observed, is phenomena. Material, psychological, spiritual phenomena - They are all the same. Remember: that which can be seen is a dream. Start contemplating in this way: If you are walking on the street, contemplate that shopkeepers and the customers and the people coming and going, all are dreams. The buses, the train the airplane, all are dream. Suddenly like a flash, one thing comes into your vision: "I am a dream too." Because if the seen is a dream. Then who is this "I"? If the objects is a dream, then a subject is also a dream. If the object is false, how can the subject be the truth? If you watch everything as a dream, suddenly you will find something slipping out of your being: the idea of the ego. Meditating this way again and again, one day the miracle happens: you look in, and the ego is not find there.

The ego is by product of the illusion that whatsoever you are seeing is true. If you think that objects are true, then the ego can exist; it is a by product. If you think that objects are dreams, the ego disappears. And if you think continuously that all is a dream, then one day, in a dream in the night, you will be surprised: Suddenly in the dream you will remember that this is a dream too! And immediately, as the remembrance happens; the dream will disappear. And for the first time you will experience yourself deep asleep, yet awake - a very paradoxical experience, but of great benefit. Once you have seen your dream disappearing because you have become aware of the dream, your quality of consciousness will have a new flavour to it. The next morning you will wake up for the first time. Now you will know that all those other mornings were false; you were not really awake. The dreams continued - the only difference was that in the night you are were dreaming with eyes closed, in the day you were dreaming with eyes open.

Awareness and dreaming cannot exist together. Here, awareness arises and thereafter the dream disappears. Your eyes will be so clear, so transparent, and everything will look so psychedelic, so colourful, so alive. Even rocks will be felt to be breathing, pulsating; even rocks will have a heartbeat. When you are awake, the whole existence changes its quality.

LOVE

Love is the undying flame that sets life a glow.

Of the forces that can best overcome all difficulties, love is the most potent force because the greatest law of god is love, which holds the key to all problems. This mighty force not only enables you to put the ideal of selfless service into practice, but also transforms one into god. It has been possible through love for man to become god; and when god becomes man, it is also due to his love for us.

                              Love is the dynamic in action and contagious in effect. Pure love is matchless in majesty;

It has no parallel in power and there is no darkness it cannot dispel. It is the Undying Flame That has Set Life Aglow. Our emancipation depends upon our love for god and upon god's love for us. Where there is love, there is oneness and, in complete oneness, the infinite is realised completely in every sphere of life, be it sincere, art or religion. The spirit of true love and sacrifice is beyond all ledgers and measurements. 

                      A constant wish to love and be loving and a non- calculating will to sacrifice in every walk of life, high and low, big and small, between home and office, streets and cities, Countries and Continents, are the best anti-selfish measures that we can take in order to be really self-full and joyful. " Love also means suffering and pain for oneself and happiness for others." To the giver, it is suffering without malice or hatred. To the receiver, it is a blessing without obligation. Love alone knows how to give without necessarily bargaining for returns. " There is nothing that love cannot achieve and there is nothing that love cannot sacrifice." Love for god, love for fellow-beings, for service and of sacrifices; in short, love in any shape and form is the finest give and take in the world. Ultimately, It is love that will bring about the much desired universal leveling of human beings all over the world, without necessarily disturbing the inherent diversities of details.

                     Divine love is qualitatively different from human love. Human love is for the many in the one and divine love is for the one in the many. Human leads to innumerable complications and tangles; but divine love leads to integration and freedom. human love in its personal and impersonal aspects is limited; but divine love, with its fusion of the personal and the impersonal aspects, is infinite in being and expression. Divine love makes use true to ourselves and to others and makes us live truly and honestly. it is the solution to all our problems; its frees us from every kind of binding, purifies our hearts and glorifies our being. To those whose hearts are pure and simple, true love comes as a gift through the activating grace of a Perfect Master, and this divine love will perform the supreme miracle of bringing god into the hearts of men. To realise God, we must love him, losing ourselves in his Infinite Self. We can Love God by surrendering to the perfect Master who is God's personal manifestation. The beginning of real love is obedience, and surpasses love itself is the aspect which culminates into the perfect obedience or supreme resignation to the Will and Wish of the Beloved. In this love are embodied all yogas known to saints and seekers.
